These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of RentAppeals.co.uk and any services we provide through it. By using the Website or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Key points (plain English)
- We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, documents and decisions.
- AI and OCR tools can help, but they may be wrong — you must review and correct anything before confirming.
- Outcomes are not guaranteed. Tribunal decisions may set rent higher, lower or similar to the proposed rent.
3. Definitions
- Account: your registered user account on the Website.
- AI Tools: optional writing assistance features using third-party AI services.
- Case: your saved application/letter matter in your Account.
- Content: text, files, data, images and documents you upload or enter.
- OCR: optical character recognition used to extract text from uploaded documents.
- Outputs: documents or text generated by the Website based on your inputs (PDF/DOCX/letters).
- Services: the Tribunal Application service, Landlord Letter service, and any related features we provide.
- Website: RentAppeals.co.uk (including any related mobile app).
4. Eligibility and intended users
- The Services are designed for residential tenants in England and Wales.
- You must be 18 or over to create an Account.
- Any eligibility or triage tools are informational only and are not legal advice.
5. No legal advice / no solicitor-client relationship
- We are not solicitors and do not provide legal advice.
- Nothing on the Website is legal advice.
- Using the Website does not create a solicitor-client relationship, fiduciary duty or agency relationship.
6. The Services
6.1 Tribunal Application service – £49.99 (VAT inclusive)
This service helps you complete a guided questionnaire, upload documents, optionally use AI/OCR support, generate a Tribunal-ready application pack, and submit it by email to the Tribunal if you confirm submission.
6.2 Landlord Letter service – £9.99 (VAT inclusive)
This service generates a structured letter you can send to your landlord or agent requesting a reduction or withdrawal of a proposed rent increase.
6.3 Using both products / bundles
If you purchase both products, we may reuse the same Case data to avoid duplication.
6.4 Auto-submission by email
We can submit your Tribunal Application by email once payment is confirmed and you confirm the final version.
7. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate details when creating an Account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. Your Content and your responsibility
- You confirm you have the right to upload documents.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your answers and uploads.
- You must review all Outputs before confirming submission.
- You must not create unlawful, abusive or threatening communications.
9. AI Tools and OCR limitations
- AI and OCR tools are assistive only.
- You must verify AI/OCR suggestions.
- We do not guarantee accuracy for your circumstances.
10. Prices, VAT and payments
- Prices are VAT inclusive: Tribunal Application £49.99; Landlord Letter £9.99.
- Payments include Stripe and PayPal.
- Payment must be completed before outputs are generated.
- We may decline suspected fraudulent transactions.
11. Discounts
- Discounts may be offered from time to time.
- Unless stated otherwise, discounts apply once per user.
- We may withdraw discounts to prevent misuse.
12. Outputs, delivery and availability
- Outputs are delivered via your Account or email.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
13. Refunds, cancellations and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK law.
We do not offer refunds once Outputs have been generated, except where required by law.
If we fail to provide the Service due to a fault on our side, consumer law remedies may apply.
14. Deadlines and time limits
Tribunal processes often have strict deadlines. You are responsible for acting in time.
15. Limitation of liability
- Nothing excludes liability required by law.
- We are not liable for tribunal outcomes or landlord actions.
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service.
16. Privacy and cookies
Your personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available on the Website.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to consumer protections.
